The Italian Kitchen West delivered a serviceable but uneven experience. The linguine with marinara, shrimp, and meatballs showcased both the kitchen’s strengths and its blind spots. The pasta and shrimp were cooked perfectly — precise texture, clean flavor, and clear attention to timing. The meatballs were genuinely well done: seasoned properly, tender, and the standout element of the dish. Unfortunately, the marinara sauce undermined the plate. It was thin, watery, and almost entirely devoid of flavor, leaving the dish without the depth or cohesion it needed. The portion size, however, was generous and appreciated. A notable positive: the meatball subs ordered for lunch the next day were solid, reinforcing that the kitchen handles its meatballs well even if the sauce needs serious reworking.A measured three‑star experience — competent fundamentals, but the marinara held the meal back.

We tried The Italian Kitchen West and honestly loved it 🍝✨ From the moment we got there, the service was amazing. We originally sat outside, but when the weather started getting bad, they were super kind and moved us inside without any issue. We started with an antipasto salad and a minestrone soup, both generous enough to share between three people. Then we had a pizza called “Andrés” and it was so good. After that, we ordered two pastas, the Florentina and the Isabela, and they were excellent. Easily my favorite pastas so far, I loved them. The prices were very reasonable. We ordered all of this plus two glasses of wine, one beer, and two diet sodas, and the total was around $100. The portions are big, though. We ended up taking about half of the pizza and pasta home. Next time, I’d probably order just one pasta and maybe a small pizza instead of a large one. Overall, I really liked this place and would definitely come back.

I don’t usually do reviews, but I brought my family to Italian Kitchen westside on Sunday and it was a fantastic experience. Our waiter James was outstanding - very attentive and helpful. He made several great entree recommendations and even helped us pick a really nice wine. The service here truly made our birthday celebration special! The moment we walked in we were warmly greeted - the ambiance is cozy and food is authentically delicious. Every dish tasted like it was made with real care, especially the pasta dishes and the pizza. Definitely worth the drive from the east side. Highly recommend!

Cozy, classy and always exceeds our expectations. My husband and I have been coming out here for more than 6 years. You can’t get enough of their Pinot Noir house wine. Indeed our favorite Italian restaurant.

Quaint authentic Italian kitchen. Service is excellent. Plates are large, even though everything is delicious we had to take home leftovers for lunch the next day. Best spumoni dessert in town.
